Yes, our founder Shammi is a registered architect under Council of Architecture India (COA) and an associate member of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA).

 

• What services do you provide?

We are an architectural consultancy. Architectural, Interior, Furniture, Landscape, Structural and MEP details come under our scope.

 

• Where is your office located?

Currently our office is based in Perinthalmanna, Kerala.

 

• What is the first step to starting a project with your studio?

The process starts with an initial consultation where we discuss your project goals, budget, and timeline. Then there will be an Advance project initiation payment. Following this, we conduct a site visit (if applicable), and then develop preliminary design concepts. Once the design is approved, we proceed with detailed planning and documentation.

 

• What are your fees?

Our fees are typically based on the scope of work, project size, and complexity. To provide you with a comprehensive design fee proposal we will need to know basic details of project that includes:

• How long does the design process take?

The design timeline for each project varies depending on its complexity, size, and scope. Generally, the initial design phase may take anywhere from 1-2 months. We will provide a detailed schedule tailored to your project once the initial consultations are complete.

 

• Do you take up ‘Elevation’ design?

No, we don’t provide our design services in ‘parts’. We believe design should be a holistic approach, so we provide complete design consultancy.

• Is distance from your office location an obstacle to execute your design?

No, Distance has never been a limiting factor for us in executing our design anywhere in the world. We have a system at place to ensure efficient project development. We provide detailed technical drawings in each stage of project development and we always involve technically sound Builders and Interior contractors who are well versed in reading and executing detailed drawings. We have stage wise site visits to ensure everything on site is going according to the ‘plan’.

 

• Do you offer sustainable or green building design?

Absolutely. Sustainability is at the core of our design philosophy. We aim to minimize environmental impact through energy-efficient design, responsible material sourcing, and strategies such as passive solar design, rainwater harvesting, and natural ventilation.

 

• Once a project starts on site, how do you make sure everything is going as per design?

To ensure the project is built according to the design we provide regular site visits, coordination with contractors, reviewing construction progress, and addressing any issues that arise during construction.

• Can you help with interior design?

Yes, we offer full interior design services. Our team can assist with selecting finishes, fixtures, furniture, and other design elements to create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing space.
